Stores Person

Imperial Personnel have a vacancy available for a Stores Person to join our client in Doncaster, DN6 on a full-time and temp-to-perm basis. Our client specialises in Industrial Textile and Upholstery Services.

Responsibilities:

• To manage inward and outward stock movement whilst maintaining accuracy and integrity of the store.
• Fork truck driving and moving inventory to required locations as required.
• Manual Handling up to 30kgs.
• Raise purchase orders acquiring best price and expedite when required.
• Complete pro-forma reports and email to senior management.
• Improving stock management and ensuring levels are at the correct levels to supplier manufacturing and customer.
• To develop and maintain a professional relationship with third party carriers, courier companies and freight forwarders ensuring our brands reputation and values are delivered.
• Ensuring all stock records are kept up to date.
• Carrying out PI checks and full periodic stock checks.
• To have full responsibility of the stores/stock areas ensuring accuracy, good housing, records keeping, organisation and stores procedures.
• Any other duties that may also be required in busy periods to support the factory operations.

Hours and Pay:

£13ph - £13.50ph

Mon – Fri

37.5 hours per week

(9am – 5pm)

Requirements:

· Forklift Trained

· Attention to detail

· Strong IT Skills

· Good communication skills

· The ability to clean, organise and keep tidy workspaces

· Be physically able to maintain manual handling procedures
