Salary: £12 per hour

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated Graduate Planner to join our client, a specialist in high-rise unitised facades. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate in Mechanical Engineering or Structural Engineering to kickstart their career with a company that is at the forefront of the façade industry.

As a Graduate Planner, you will assist with planning and coordinating the installation of aluminium façade systems on high-rise projects. You will be working closely with experienced planners and project managers, gaining hands-on experience in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of project plans and schedules
  • Support the coordination of materials, labour, and resources for high-rise façade projects
  • Track project progress and ensure timelines are met
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure smooth project execution
  • Prepare reports and provide regular updates to senior management
  • Ensure all planning activities adhere to company standards and health and safety regulations

Requirements:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Structural Engineering
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and project management software
  • Understanding of construction and engineering processes (desirable)
