CNC Machinist

Imperial Personnel are looking for a CNC operative for a well-established company based In Sutton in Ashfield. Our client are a leading electricals manufacturer and this role is on a 12-week temporary to permanent basis.

Job Description

• You must be able to read and understand Mechanical engineering drawings.
• Be able to use and read inspection equipment such as, Bore mics / external Mics / digital callipers / height gauge etc.
• Set & operate Mazak lathes / Mazak Turn Mills and Mazak vertical Mills / Controls include Matrix & Smart.
• CNC tooling knowledge and tool wear monitoring.
• To be able to edit Mazatrol programs.
• Program Mazatrol is not essential but is advantageous.
• Previous experience using either Fanuc, Mazak or Siemens machines.
• Knowledge of Mazak and Hass CNC programming systems.
• Working knowledge of ISO9001 Quality Management system

Pay

£13.24 per hour

Three shift pattern – Days (6am – 2pm), Afters (2pm – 10pm) and Nights (10pm – 6am)

Requirements

• Strong Engineering skills with a minimum of 2 years setting and operating CNC Machines.
• Experience of Programming of Mazak turning centres and Mazak 4 axis machine tools.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings and to self-inspect work using Inspection equipment.
• Good communication skills being approachable, consistent, diplomatic with good team building skills.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Management system.
