Job Title: Brick Production Team Leader
Location: Carlton on Trent
Salary: £17 per hour

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Brick Production Team Leader to join our client, a specialist in high-rise unitised facades. Based in Carlton on Trent, this role is perfect for someone with bricklaying or pointing experience who is ready to lead a team in a production environment.

As the Brick Production Team Leader, you will oversee the daily operations of the brick production team, ensuring quality standards and production targets are met. You will play a key role in motivating the team and ensuring all health and safety standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team in the production of high-quality brickwork
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the production line, ensuring smooth operations
  • Ensure all work is completed to the required quality standards and deadlines
  • Provide hands-on guidance to team members, offering support with bricklaying and pointing as needed
  • Monitor and enforce health and safety standards in the workplace
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure materials and resources are available
  • Keep accurate records of production and report on progress to management

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in bricklaying or pointing is essential
  • Proven leadership experience in a similar environment
  • Strong understanding of brick production processes
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and team management skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a production or construction environment
