Assembly Operative

Imperial Personnel are looking for an Assembly Operative to join our client in Doncaster, DN6 on a full-time and temp-to-perm basis. Our client specialises in Industrial Textile and Upholstery Services.

Responsibilities:

· To work to the production schedule, whilst maintaining high standards at all times.

· Maintain quality checks to ensure products are of a high standard and meet requirements.

· General operation and use of hand tools.

· Operation of various semi - automatic saw machines.

· Interpret drawings to acquire correct sizes, cut-out requirements and orientations of products.

· To ensure volume of work matches needs of the business.

· Gain an exceptional knowledge of the products and how they are manufactured to ensure they meet high standards and requirements.

· Be self-reliant on completing tasks.

· Constantly look to improve quality of products.

Training would be given for the role

Hours and Pay:

Mon – Fri (7am – 3pm)

37.5 per week

£12.50ph - £13ph

Requirements:

· Safe use of hand tools both manual & battery operated.

· Good attention to detail.

· Strong communication skills.

· The ability to clean, organise and keep tidy workspaces.

· Be physically able to maintain manual handling procedures -training will be given in manual handling.
